West Chester Native, Georgia Grab Dies After 'Hard Fought' Battle With Cancer, 23

West Chester native, Georgia Reagan Grab died after a "hard-fought" battle with bile duct cancer on May 3. She was 23.

Grab attended Henderson High School in West Chester, and later earned a bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Delaware in 2020, according to her obituary.

Most recently, she worked as a Residential Behavioral Assistant at Upper Bay Counseling and Support, and was studying for her Master’s degree at Capella University, her obit says.

She was remembered as someone who wanted to become a clinical psychologist for young adults who suffer from mental illness, according to her Linkedin profile.

She is survived by her dog Ruby; her parents Steve and Laurie; her brothers Stash Grab and Charlie Grab; their cat Dusty and dog Hank; her maternal grandma, Bernice Smith; her Uncle Lloyd; and sister-in-law Heather Grab.

Funeral services were held on May 7 at  St. Agnes Church on West Gay Street in West Chester.
